Edith Mezirow

Ms. Mezirow has been a director of the foundation since 2006. She is an arts administrator and fundraising consultant for the past thirty years in New York City and its environs. She has assisted arts organizations with fundraising special events, marketing, program design and institutional development. She has also worked with corporations in the development of sponsorship projects with arts organizations. She has been Director of Development for: the New 42nd Street; the Martha Graham Center of Contemporary Dance; Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater; and The American Federation of Arts. She has also been a consultant to such organizations as: the Film Society of Lincoln Center; National Corporate Fund for Dance; Columbia University School of the Arts; Yale School of Drama; Borough of Manhattan; Amnesty International; Jazzmobile; and the New York Center for Visual History.

She has been an instructor of SUNY Purchase in the Arts Management Certificate Program; a Lecturer in the Arts Management Program at the Yale School of Drama; and an Instructor in the New York University Certificate Program in Arts Management.

Ms. Mezirow is an active Alumni of Sarah Lawrence College and continues to assist to the fundraising efforts of the College.
