Mary F. Bullock

Ms. Bullock has been a director of the foundation since 2003. She is a consultant in arts and education, working with arts, education and social justice organizations since her retirement from two careers in education (English teacher in Arlington Public Schools and Special Projects Head at the National Science Foundation’s Office of Legislative and Public Affairs), and currently supports programs in the arts, education and social justice.

As a Director on the Board of the OSHER LIFELONG LEARNING INSTITUTE (OLLI) at American University, she is interested in attracting members to activities of service to the larger community.

A volunteer since 2001 and a Director at Food for Others, northern Virginia’s largest food bank, Ms. Bullock works in schools to engage youth in preventing homelessness and most enjoys direct contact with clients in need of food, an assorted group of some refugees, the working poor and the homeless.
